Well, How ’Bout That - We Really Pulled It Off
The 2025 be; community fundraiser was a night of celebration, connection, and courage, capturing everything we stand for and showing us what’s possible when people come together with purpose. Together, we raised $35,136 in revenue and received an astounding $58,820 worth of donated time, talent, and resources. Thanks to generous partnerships and mindful budgeting, paid expenses totalled $12,647, allowing us to retain $22,488 to strengthen and grow our mission. Behind those numbers are real people finding safety, dignity, and pride in spaces that support and celebrate who they are. Every dollar raised directly fuels programs that build belonging, promote inclusion, and provide resources that empower individuals and enrich communities.

This Is What Not-Alone Looks Like
This whole experience, from start to finish, has been a powerful validation that we are exactly where we need to be, and that we are certainly not alone in this. Thanks to the extensive in-kind contributions; from venue discounts and donated food to volunteer hours and professional services, we were able to host an unforgettable, high-caliber event featuring an intimate performance by Melissa Ferrick in a gorgeous venue filled with the most extraordinary people. The positive energy was visceral, we’re still buzzin! This simply could not have happened without the most dedicated and passionate team of volunteers and partners we could ever ask for. The truth is, belonging isn’t built by chance; it’s built by choice, courage, and by showing up. And you all showed up (lookin’ real good, I might add).

Through The Firefly Project, and now our dear friends at Metacomet Studios, we were offered a full creative partnership opportunity – 100% donated. This incredible gift included brand development, identity, and design; a complete website build and design (HELLO!); a fully produced and edited docuseries (be; seen); countless hours of consultation (all tears and breakdowns included, at no additional cost); and continued ongoing support (thank GOD); not to mention the most patient, understanding, and gentle approach to directing (and re-directing) us through every step of this year- long journey. This unmatched generosity has not only helped us find our voice and amplify it with confidence, clarity, and truth, but has also paved a pathway, ensuring our vision continues to grow far beyond our eclectic, funky walls and drafty greenhouse windows.
